Snook
SNOOK is Pete Soucy's
street-smart "corner boy" character from downtown St.
John's, Newfoundland. Quick talking and fun-loving, he has
entertained on stage, radio, and TV for almost two decades.
For years a regular on CBC's Canada Now, Lorne Elliot's Madly
Off in All Directions, and the Halifax Comedy Festival, SNOOK
also hosted his own variety series Wicked Night Out. SNOOK
currently appears weekly (Thursdays at approx 7:35 NT) on the
NTV Evening News.
An extensive 'gig-list"
includes several major ad campaigns, special events, and dozens
of corporate functions annually. With two popular
home-video releases, his own Christmas CD, and a DVD to his
credit, Snook released a parody of childrens' songs in 2006.
A DVD of his hit Christmas Special will be available in the fall
of 2007, and Snook will appear at the St. John's Comedy Festival
in June. |
